We stand behind the quality of our 3D printed products. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help. This policy outlines our process for returns, refunds, and exchanges.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • Returned within 30 days of delivery date
  • Unused and in the same condition that you received it
  • In the original packaging with all tags and labels attached
  • Include proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

Items Not Eligible for Return:

  • Custom or personalized items made to your specifications
  • Digital downloads or 3D model files (once downloaded)
  • Gift cards or promotional items
  • Items marked as final sale or clearance
  • Items damaged due to misuse or improper care

Defective or Damaged Items

We carefully inspect all products before shipping, but if you receive a defective or damaged item, we'll make it right:

Manufacturing Defects

If your item has a manufacturing defect (warping, layer separation, structural issues), contact us within 7 days of delivery. We'll provide a free replacement or full refund.

Shipping Damage

If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage and packaging. We'll send a replacement at no cost to you.

Incorrect Items

If you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately. We'll arrange for the correct item to be sent and provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect item.

How to Initiate a Return

Follow these steps to return an item:

  1. Contact Us: Email support@3dprintshop.com with your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for return.
  2. Wait for Authorization: We'll review your request and send you a Return Authorization (RA) number and return instructions within 1-2 business days.
  3. Package the Item: Securely package the item in its original packaging. Include the RA number on the outside of the package.
  4. Ship the Item: Ship the item to the address provided in your return instructions. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.
  5. Refund Processing: Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 5-7 business days.

Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs depend on the reason for return:

We Pay Shipping:

Defective items, damaged items, incorrect items, or our error

You Pay Shipping:

Change of mind, ordered wrong item, or no longer needed

Refund Methods

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Card: Refund will appear on your statement within 5-10 business days after processing
  • PayPal: Refund will appear in your PayPal account within 3-5 business days
  • Store Credit: Available as an alternative to refund to original payment method (your choice)

Please note: Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different item:

  1. Return the original item following our return process
  2. Place a new order for the item you want
  3. We'll process your refund once we receive the returned item

Tip: To ensure you get the item you want quickly, you may place the new order before returning the original item. You'll still receive your refund once the return is processed.

Digital Products

Digital products (3D model files, design files, etc.) are non-refundable once downloaded due to their digital nature. However, if you experience technical issues with a digital product:

  • Contact us within 7 days of purchase
  • Describe the technical issue you're experiencing
  • We'll work with you to resolve the issue or provide a refund if unresolvable

Partial Refunds

In some situations, only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
  • Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts not due to our error
  • Items returned without original packaging or tags
  • Items that show obvious signs of use beyond inspection
